this poem is about a kid living far away from home, thinking about home and asking the mother..........

Now also is that there mom?

Do you remember in my childhood?
I used to play with a horse, made of wood,
Then afterwards, it was kept in the corner of hall,
Now also, is that there mom?
Do you remember my plastic ball & bat,
And that electronic blue rat,
Which remain in my wooden “sweet home”.
Now also, is that there mom?
Do you remember when I day, I refused to eat & drink,
& was continuously demanding for a swing,
Then, father brought it for me & hung it in my room,
Now also, is that there mom?
Hey, what about that 21 inch T.V.
Which remain seated, on a plastic table,
& what about that old transistor,
Which was having, a pale yellow cable,
& what happened to the teddy made of foam?
Now also, is that there mom?
My childhood pic in that old frame,
& reason of many scolding, my video game,
My white football, my plastic guitar,
& my plastic gun, best weapon in siblings’ war,
& what about that pillow pictured with jerry and tom?
Now also, is that there mom?
Do you remember, once on your birthday?
I cooked the breakfast & gave you a greeting card,
You hugged me & cried out in joy,
& your silver tear fall on that card,
What happened to that ‘tear spot’ has it gone?
Or now also, is that there mom?
And, what about those golden bangles?
Which I bought for you & you liked them a lot,
I bought them from my pocket savings,
Which I kept in the box, painted brown,
Now also, is that there mom?
What about my bicycle, what about my kite & thread,
And, what about that painting?
In which I drew you along with dad,
Have you erased it from balcony’s wall?
Or now also, is that there mom?......
